about me
I have
over fourteen years experience in human resource management.
Prior to establishing LK Consulting in 2000, I worked as an HR
professional for KeyCorp and PageNet of North Central Ohio.
I also served as the Associate Director of the Career Management Center
at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University.
In
addition to my work with LK Consulting, I am an adjunct faculty member at
Baldwin-Wallace College and facilitate programs for the Executive Development
Center at Cleveland State University.
I hold a
Ph.D. in Business Administration from Kent State University
and a
Masters Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State
University. I am also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources
through the Human Resource Certification
Institute.
My
research interests include the human resource policy implications of federal
laws and regulations, the use of technology in effective human resources
management and work/life management strategies. In addition to my book, The
Parent's Guide to Family Friendly Work, I have published several articles and book chapters and
presented numerous workshops and conference seminars on these and other human
